I prefer to think about the tulip bubble. Some words about this phenomenon were on the blackboard of the university classroom I was in last night, along with some words about the tech and housing bubbles. Tulipmania appeals to me much more. It seems less threatening to my bank account.
Of course, blooming tulips aren't very likely to make me money, either.
Jessica, I understand that centuries ago tulip bulbs were a medium of wealth, apparently made so by Holland sea-going merchants.
Did I hear that Turkey is now trying to corner the market on tulip bulbs?
